What Are Reading Glasses? Types, Strengths & How They Work

Reading glasses are non-prescription or prescription magnifying lenses that help the eyes focus on close-up objects when the natural lens of the eye loses its flexibility, a condition called presbyopia. They work by adding positive optical power, measured in ...

Tinted vs Polarized Sunglasses: What Is the Difference?

The core difference between tinted and polarized sunglasses is that tinted lenses simply reduce the overall brightness of visible light passing through them, while polarized lenses contain a special chemical film that blocks horizontally oriented reflected li...

Glasses With Nose Pads vs Without: Which Fits You Best?

Neither option is universally better: glasses with nose pads suit flatter or lower nose bridges because the pads are adjustable and hold the frame in place, while glasses without nose pads suit higher nose bridges because the built-in plastic bridge already r...

3D glasses Industry knowledge

"3D glasses are like a key that unlocks a new dimension, instantly transforming flat images into a vivid, three-dimensional spectacle. When you put on these seemingly simple optical devices, the images on the screen suddenly take on depth and dimension. Splashing water seems to wet your cheeks, and whistling bullets seem to pierce the seats. This immersive and thrilling experience is the true revolution that 3D technology has brought to modern moviegoing.

The core secret of 3D glasses lies in their sophisticated optical separation technology. The positional difference between the human eyes produces subtle parallax, and the brain uses this difference to perceive three-dimensional space. 3D glasses use different techniques to present different images to the left and right eyes, perfectly simulating the three-dimensional perception of natural vision. Early red and blue color filters, though simple and crude, pioneered home 3D entertainment. Modern mainstream polarized glasses use orthogonal polarizing filters, allowing each eye to receive images with different polarization directions, achieving a three-dimensional effect while preserving the image's color fidelity. Active shutter glasses, on the other hand, alternately block the left and right lenses at an astonishingly synchronized speed, delivering smooth 3D images when used with high-refresh-rate displays.

Zhejiang Qiliang Optical Technology Co., Ltd. specializes in the research, development, and manufacturing of new materials such as polymer optics and optoelectronics. We strive to overcome the difficulties in developing various basic optical materials and provide solutions for various new optical materials to customers in China's optical and optoelectronic fields.3D glasses, with ergonomically designed nose pads and temples, provide a comfortable fit even for extended wear. Many theaters offer clip-on 3D glasses for those wearing regular glasses, allowing nearsighted viewers to enjoy unimpaired 3D vision. Anti-glare coatings and anti-fatigue technology effectively alleviate eye discomfort from extended viewing, ensuring comfortable viewing even for 3D blockbusters over three hours long.
